ARTVOLT

ArtVolt celebrates diversity and inclusiveness. It was a collection of portraits taken by the Year 11 Photography Students from Northlakes High who photographed each other as well as fellow Australians from diverse backgrounds. Guest speakers shared their knowledge with the students during every session. Students were taught by Hilda Bezuidenhout and supported by Danielle Habib (Community Development Worker) and Corrina Peck (Links Youth Support Services). The program was run in collaboration with Northlakes High School’s photography department and funded by the Central Coast Council. The portraits appeared as paste-up images in different locations on exterior walls throughout the Northern end of the Central Coast and in an exhibition at The Art House at Wyong.
