Participatory/Community Workshops
Community engagement is at the heart of my practice. I develop participatory photography projects across New South Wales, creating spaces where people can see themselves and their stories reflected with dignity and strength. Drawing on my background in sociology and community services, I work alongside young people, First Nations artists and local communities to explore identity, belonging and cultural connection through portraiture. Many of these projects culminate in public exhibitions and site-specific installations, allowing participants to occupy visible cultural space. For me, portraiture is not just about making images — it is about listening, trust and creating meaningful connections.
